How did this event begin?
This memorial event was conceptualized right before Jeff went to be with God our Father following a 3 1/2 year courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Jeff’s daughter, Angi, and son-in-law, Sal, decided an event in his memory continuing Jeff’s love of and service to the community would be a great way to remember him. Their family hopes to celebrate his life each year by holding this memorial event.
Since 2006... and into the future!
We have raised over $25,000 for local charities. In 2006, the inagural year, our charity was the Association for Retarded Citizens. This is an organization close to our hears since Jeff's brother, Benny, has benefitted from their services all of his life. |
